We're up to over 9500 visitors now - many thanks, let's make it 10,000!!
I have shuffled the pages round on the left (grouped all my caches under a My Puzzle Caches heading) and added a new section on solving apparently blank caches.

This is some blatant self-advertising - the Kindle version of my geocaching novel is now available.
I have published a novel. It's a thriller based on geocaching. It is a thriller based round geocaching, and some of the caches listed here actually feature in the book, so you can follow the trail of clues. It is available on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk and amazon.de. Well, more and more people are looking at this site - would be nice if you let me know what is good / bad / useful / useless?!?
Please feel free to chuck in a comment here, or any suggestions for things I have left out. Thanks. The PurpelHell site I pointed at in the solving section is back again.
I must be doing something right - 1000 new visitors since January!
I will try and think of some new stuff to put on here to say thank you. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me / make suggestions / complain (gently!) / make requests or whatever. I toyed with the idea of putting solutions to puzzle caches on here and then charging for the answers (money going to charity) - sensible or stupid? Added section on Garmin Mapsource in software section.
My little flag stats show that well over 1000 people have looked at the puzzle solving pages on here - thank you, that makes it all rather worth while!!
I have just discovered a new series of puzzle caches for you in Canada - links on the solving page - and an easy of converting KML to GPX - see the software page. I have also come across a really useful website for puzzle solvers and puzzle setters called purple hell with lots of ciphers and other stuff - links on solving page - unfortunately link not working at present (will keep a watch on it). Please take a look at my new Wherigo page and my idea to use cartridges to take people round our puzzle caches.
Let me know what you think - thanks. Have added some pages on the software I use for geocaching - please shout if you agree / disagree / think I've missed something useful.
The section on solving puzzles is part of the preparation I have been doing for a new series of caches. There is one for each puzzle type, and they have all been published now. Hi, |
